This is a project ideal for the backwater cities. Now tourists from many countries enjoy our art forms; notably Kathakali & Kalarippayattu when they visit Kerala. Daily Kathakali shows and Kalarippayattu demonstration programs are now routine in all major tourist destinations in Kerala. As far as Cochin, Fort Cochin, Kovalam etc are concerned these art form presentations attract a huge crowd every day.
But these shows are conducted in congested home theatres where facilities are totally inadequate.
Considering the importance of providing a good ambience for the presentation of these art forms, TICK has come up with the AQUA THEATRE CONCEPT and found that enjoying these art forms in a backwater setting would be an unforgettable experience for the tourists.
The Theatre will be set up in two combined kettuvallams with the following arrangements:
A Theatre hall of seating capacity of 75 nos.
A back room cum dressing room for the artists.
A toilet block
A Buffet counter to distribute snacks & tea
An exhibition room for display & sale of the art items of Kerala
Musical and art form presentations can be arranged in the theatre every day. The Theatre will float in the backwaters and for the transfer of the guests; a small transfer boat will be used.
Why not try it with TICK?
